KILL by stomping an enemy's head from above. Contact from the side or below TEARS OFF a limb — go pick it up. Bare-skulled, a hit costs one of your three FLAMES.

BONES

Bones you pick up STACK onto your body:

  • legs jump higher, run faster
  • jaws bite
  • spines add slots, and LASH to strike
  • wings flap again in mid-air
  • tusks let you RAM
  • shells TUCK shut: untouchable, and helpless
  • ribcage walk on your fists: SMASH the ground, cling to walls
  • claws hang from a ceiling, DOWN to let go

CARRYING

GRAB takes a bone, THROW hurls one as a weapon, PLACE sets one down at your feet. Bone pedestals sell POWERS — the price is paid in limbs.

THE GRAVEYARD

  • Find the KEY, then GRAB at the door to leave.
  • Grave shafts drop into the catacombs.
  • Sealed rooms hold three waves — clear them and the gates open.

WHAT WANTS YOU

Boars CHARGE — they paw the ground first. Dogs run you down. Bats fly. Crawlers wait on the roof and pounce. Frogs leap. Tortoises shut tight. Monkeys climb.
